The former US president has created enough chaos while in his term. Apart from regular announcements, wishes, and condolences, he posted frequent threat updates to intrigue the world. While they are allowed, most are objected to and deemed against the guidelines of various social platforms he was in, leading to repeated warnings, deletion of posts, and finally, the whole accounts! After the US Capitol riots early this year, Trump’s account’s on Facebook and Twitter were banned for various concerns. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in particular said; This led the former president to call Facebook’s action a “total disgrace and an embarrassment to our country,” and his new lawsuit against it will be the “end of the shadow banning, a stop to the silencing and the canceling that you know so well.” Believing that these companies violated his First Amendment, Trump, with his lawyers, is gearing up to sue them (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) soon in the Southern District of California. This may already be a roadblock, as the terms of Facebook and Twitter clearly mentioned that any lawsuits against them should be brought up in select courts in California and may not entertain in other courts. And if Trump plans to do so accordingly, he’s now aiming to get a class action stance on these cases and “prove this censorship is unconstitutional.“
